The article considers the problem of social philosophy concerning the contents of social relations in pre-reform Russia reflected in literary, social and political works of N.A. Dobroljubov, Russian revolutionary democrat. His literary, social, economic and political views, analyzed from aesthetic positions, are the object of research. The article brings up an actual social-philosophical problem of development, transformation, humanization, perfection, harmonization, aesthetization of social relations.
